Spotsylvania County Public Schools is a public school district serving Spotsylvania, Virginia. It consists of 17 Elementary, 7 Middle, and 5 High Schools and has a total enrollment of over 24,000 student. Spotsylvania County Public Schools works with the area Parks and Recreation Department to help maintain the area around the Schools (athletic facilities, etc.).

Spotsylvania County was formed in 1721 and is located along the I-95 corridor, 42 miles (68 km) south of Washington, D.

The Wake County Public School System is a public school district located in Wake County, North Carolina. With 139,599 students enrolled in 158 schools as of the 2009/10 academic year,

The current school system is the result of a 1976 merger between the previous (historically largely white) Wake County school system and the former (historically largely minority) Raleigh City schools. The merger was proposed initially by business leaders in the early 1970s out of concerns that continued “white flight” from Raleigh’s inner-city schools would negatively impact the county’s overall economy. Political and educational leaders also hoped that merging the two systems would ease court-mandated desegregation. The proposal proved initially unpopular with residents, however, who rejected it by a 3-1 margin in a non-binding referendum in 1973.

Its main competitors are The Philadelphia Inquirer across the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, and the Courier-Post in South Jersey. It is a sister newspaper to both the The News of Cumberland County (in Cumberland County) and Today’s Sunbeam (in Salem County), as all are owned by Advance Publications.

Founded in 1897 as the Woodbury Daily Times, the present-day GCT has expanded its readership from just Woodbury to cover all of Gloucester County’s local news as well as the most important national news. There are 24 suburban communities comprising the 328-square-mile (850 km2) county that is home to 260,000 residents.

Tarrant County College (TCC) or Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is a public two year community college serving the Fort Worth area in Tarrant County, Texas and providing degree programs toward an Associate of Arts, an Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Arts in Teaching. As of 2008 the institution was ranked as the sixth largest in Texas among community colleges and universities with student enrollment for credit hours of 39,596. There are currently four campuses and a fifth will open in the fall of 2009. Originally called Tarrant County Junior College (TCJC), the school began on July 31, 1965 after voters approved a bond election for the formation of a junior college district. In 1967 the first campus, the South Campus, opened in south Fort Worth and soon after in 1968, the Northeast Campus was built in Hurst.
