Evan Marcel Turner (born October 27, 1988 in Chicago, Illinois), is an American basketball player for Ohio State University. Turner plays the point guard, shooting guard and small forward positions. Turner is a first-team 2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball All-American and 2010 National Player of the Year according to multiple sources. Turner is the incumbent Big Ten Conference scoring champion and the reigning Big Ten Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Year. He has twice been the only player named as a unanimous first-team selection by both the coaches and the media to the All-Big Ten team (2008–09, 2009–10).
