David G. Sills (born March 21, 1938) has served as the presiding justice for the Court of Appeal in the Fourth Appellate District, Division Three. He is a former mayor of Irvine, California.
Member of the Republican State Central Committee of California 1966-1968 and Chairman of the Republican Associates of Orange County 1968-1969.
According to his biographical page on the State of California’s court information website, he was appointed as a judge to California’s Superior Court in 1985 by former Governor George Deukmejian and served there until being appointed to the Court of Appeal by the same governor in 1990.
