Constance Marie (born Constance Marie Lopez on September 9, 1965 in East Los Angeles, California) is an American actress of Mexican descent. She is known for her role as Angie on George Lopez (2002–2007) and for her role as Marcela Quintanilla (mother of Selena) in the 1997 film Selena.
Marie grew up in Los Angeles, California. She is part of a third-generation Mexican American family that moved from apartment to apartment, and was raised by her mother and grandmother. Marie attended Fairfax High School in Los Angeles.
