Steve Addazio is currently the Interim Head Coach for the University of Florida Gators football team. He was named Interim Head Coach during Urban Meyer’s Medical Leave of Absence beginning on January 2, 2010. Urban Meyer promoted Addazio to Offensive Coordinator from Offensive Lines Coach/Assistant Head Coach on December 27, 2008. He follows Dan Mullen, who was hired as head coach of Mississippi State earlier that month. Although the announcement of Addazio’s promotion occurred in December, Mullen stayed with the football team through the Jan.
